Why Monolite?
Advantage over classic glued edgebandingNo visible joints
Traditional glued edging does not provide continuity between the planes, which means that the edges can cut off visually from the rest of the surface. Monolite eliminates this problem, providing a uniform appearance across the entire front.
No dirt deposition in joints
In traditional fronts, dirt accumulates at the interface between the plane and the glued edge, which becomes more and more visible after years of use. This affects not only the aesthetics, but also the durability of the furniture. In Monolite the joints are not visible, so the fronts remain clean and elegant for many years
Seamless edge technology
Lacquering effect without its drawbacks: with Monolite, it is possible to obtain fronts covered with acrylic laminate without visible joints, which gives the effect of full lacquering, while allowing efficient mass production.
Greater resistance to UV radiation
Varnished fronts, especially light-colored ones, can change shade over time when exposed to UV light. Although acrylic can also gently change shade, the process is much slower than with lacquer.
Lower paint wear
Monolite technology allows to varnish only the edges of the fronts, which reduces the use of varnish by 90-95% compared to the traditional varnishing of entire surfaces. This means less use of paint materials, lower production costs and a more environmentally friendly processing method.
Odporność na zarysowania
The use of durable acrylic coatings makes Monolite fronts much more resistant to mechanical damage than traditional lacquered surfaces.
No problems with deformation of fronts
With traditionally lacquered fronts, a thick layer of varnish can cause stress, leading to distortion and curvature. Monolite eliminates this problem, ensuring perfectly straight surfaces for years to come.
Moisture resistance
In tests conducted, a sample with a glued edge fully immersed in water begins to swell after just 6 hours, while Monolite remains intact for as long as 20 hours.
Easy replacement of fronts
Lacquered fronts are difficult to repair – possible replacement involves differences in color and gloss between the new and old pieces. Monolite eliminates this problem, as acrylic fronts can be replaced without worrying about differences in finish.
Monolite combines the solidity of monolith with the lightness and functionality of modern materials. The seamless finish provides a monolithic appearance, durability and aesthetics, working perfectly in any space.
This is the new standard in premium furniture – elegance, modernity and unparalleled quality.
