A bar in a Chicago mansion
The bar in the Villa in Chicago was designed as a multifunctional, discreet space, which at first glance brings to mind a classic kitchen cabinet. The system of retractable fronts used makes it possible to hide the TV and the area intended for liquor and glassware at a glance, so that the whole space maintains an orderly, calm appearance. The bar has been designed as a multi-functional space, which at first glance is reminiscent of a classic kitchen.
The centerpiece is an island made of veneered lamellas with a clearly visible wood grain. The same shade of veneer, also used in the wall-mounted units in a matte finish, builds consistency and material depth. The rhythm of the lamellas emphasizes the architectural character of the furniture and gives it a distinctive look.
