A new address for design enthusiasts – the Ernestrust showroom in Gdańsk

The new ernestrust studio in Gdańsk is an invitation to a world where design appeals to the senses. The space may be intimate, but what happens within it resonates on a much larger scale. It contains the very essence of interior design – the kind that makes you want to live in it.

That’s why the opening event took place in the spirit of la dolce vita – because that very mood, accompanied by a glass of prosecco and the scent of freshly baked pizza, perfectly reflects what we strive for when designing kitchens, wardrobes, and interiors for our clients.

What kitchens can you see at the ernestrust showroom in Gdańsk?

At our new studio on Aleja Grunwaldzka, you’ll find the natureicon kitchen with burr veneer fronts that slide seamlessly into the furniture. This collection was designed from the very beginning as a story about touch and gentle curves. Everything here feels organic and soft.

But it’s not just the fronts that deserve attention. The display of this collection also features a subtle natural stone countertop. Our brand’s Creative Director, Marcin Fatyga, chose Sky White quartzite, which brings delicate light into the space and helps create a sense of calm upon returning home.

This is a quartzite kitchen countertop that impresses not only with its aesthetics but also with its practical properties: with proper sealing, it’s resistant to scratches and stains, making it perfect for everyday use.

Stone sink and a hidden Thermomix drawer 

What makes this project stand out? A sink made from the same stone as the countertop – giving the entire piece the appearance of a single block of stone. A luxurious, pure form..

Additionally, the countertop conceals a retractable drawer for a Thermomix or other appliance – designed to maintain a seamless surface. It answers the question of where to store the Thermomix so it’s easily accessible without compromising the aesthetics of the kitchen. Solutions like this show that natural stone countertops can combine advanced functionality with a luxurious look.

Taj Mahal – a second client favorite

It’s worth noting that Sky White isn’t the only showstopper. Clients looking for a light-colored kitchen countertop often ask about Taj Mahal quartzite – a stone in cashmere tones, with delicate veining and a crystalline depth. You’ll also find a sample of it in our extensive material library in Gdańsk, and its beautiful finish is featured in our dolcecrema kitchen.

This is also a natural stone countertop but with a completely different character: warmer, more creamy, with a subtle mineral shimmer. It pairs beautifully with light fronts and a muted color palette. If you’re looking for a bright kitchen stone that doesn’t overpower the space but brings elegance – Taj Mahal is one of the best choices.

How to finish a natural stone countertop?

The dolcecrema countertop features chamfered edges that make it appear slimmer – in contrast to the rounded edges of Sky White in natureicon. This is a great example of how different effects can be achieved using the same material.

 

Edge finishing matters not only aesthetically, but also sensorially – in natureicon, the soft curves are pleasant to the touch, guiding your hand smoothly along the furniture and emphasizing its organic nature.
